CatLax helps the flow of ingested fur through the gut to prevent hairball formation. Hairballs can be avoided with frequent grooming and routine use of CatLax. CatLax contains ingredients that gently lubricate the digestive tract to prevent hairball build-up. Cats can easily pick up hair from frequent grooming, which causes hairballs to form. Ingested hair can become lodged in the digestive tract and form a cluster or hairball. Symptoms of hairballs include choking, coughing, vomiting, and constipation.
CatLax acts as a lubricant that coats the swallowed hair and allows the hairball to travel down the digestive tract. CatLax has a mild laxative effect that penetrates hardened
stool so it can be passed.
